About Me & How This Site Came to Be

I work as a professional driver, so I know firsthand how frustrating it can be to find your destination – especially when you're heading somewhere new, during rush hour, and the clock is ticking. I’ve often struggled with both my memory and the Microlise system, so I decided to put together my own little database of places I deliver to.

After a while, I thought, why not make it available for other drivers too? And that’s how HappyDriver.co.uk was born.

I built this site entirely on my own, in my spare time – partly to make my own life easier, but also to improve my coding skills. Everything you see here has been made from scratch, and I’m constantly working on improving it.

Site Development

The site is fully functional and up and running, but I’m still working on an upgraded version. Future plans include adding more store chains and introducing new features to make life on the road even easier.

Support

I cover all the server costs myself, but if you fancy chipping in for a coffee, you’ll find a PayPal link in the footer. Any support is massively appreciated and helps keep the project growing!

Important Info

  • I add all the addresses manually, but some might be out of date. If you spot anything wrong, let me know!
  • If you’d like me to add a delivery or collection point, just drop me a message – and if possible, attach some photos.
  • Got any questions? Get in touch!

Thanks for stopping by – hope you find the site useful! 🚛💨
